Details Insulation provides spray foam insulation services in Edmonton and Area for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
While most of our work is within 30 minutes of Edmonton, we often end up much further away than that for large commercial or industrial projects. In 2015, we completed projects in Lloydminster, Hinton, Edson, Wabasca, Slave Lake, and north of Peace River, to name a few.
This building in Lloydminster was sprayed entirely from the exterior, and the spray foam insulation provided the air and vapour barrier as well as superior insulation value all in one application.
All spray foam insulation turns colour when exposed to UV light. On the left, you can see what was sprayed the day before, and on the right is the foam that was being installed during the day the picture was taken.
On this job, Details Insulation installed over 9000 square feet of 3" Depth PolarFoam PF7300-0-Soya spray foam insulation. As can imagine, on an outside job like this it is critical that the spray foam insulation contractor be very aware of the wind and weather conditions. The installers coordinated the time of day they worked to ensure that the wind, rain, and humidity were within acceptable limits, as set out by CUFCA. This job was completed on time and on budget, with no overspray damage to surrounding buildings or vehicles.

More spray foam insulation in progress. When working around windows, it is important that they are masked properly so that they are protected from overspray. In this case, careful attention was paid to ensure the masking was firmly in place as the wind did it's best to try to rip it down on a daily basis.
